Instead of emoticons, Firefox is showing me blank spaces all over Facebook (chat, status updates, comments etc.). I've tried to clean all data, I've restarted it, and it doesn't help. Only thing that's helping is when I downgrade to version 29, so it must be a bug. Currently, I'm using version 33.1.1, the latest one, on 64bit Windows 8.1.
Can someone please respond with the real solution? I've googled it, and other people have this problem too. I've noticed they're using Firefox on Windows 8.1, and have to downgrade to version 29 to get emoticons back.
Never use your phone service again because Messenger can make phone and video calls for you, on mobile and the desktop(Opens in a new window). Just click on the phone icon or the camera icon in any existing chat to give your friend or friends a call. The only requirement is that all parties have an internet connection. If you value your privacy, Messenger has a few features that can help you secure your account, outside of Facebook's own security features. Messenger lets you nickname conversations and assign them a color theme or their own particular emoji. Access this function by tapping on a contact's profile and selecting Theme, Emoji, or Nickname. Facebook Messenger allows users to undo messages up to 10 minutes after sending. Perform this action by pressing down on your message on mobile and selecting Remove. A pop-up message will ask if you want to "Unsend" or "Remove for You." In the chat, a grayed-out note will appear that says "You unsent a message" or "You removed a message." To remove that, long-press on it and select Remove. After the 10-minute window is up, you can only remove a message from your view; everyone else in the chat will still see it.

It wasn't until we had finished talking that I realized we had conducted 90% of our conversation over Facebook chat or text. There were no emails, and only a quick 5-minute phone call. This had nothing to do with whether either of us were in a place where we could talk out loud. Typing, via whatever medium, was apparently the more convenient route to take.
I've tried to "automate" the manual scroll by writing an application that interacts with the browser, putting the link of the begin of conversation on the mobile version (m.facebook.com) and finding the "next" link, virtually clicking them, and making a loop until finding the "next day", then saving the HTML of a conversation of this day and looping again to the next day. But... it's not working. First, Facebook detects that the browsing is "strange", and it uses a "strange" version of its style. I've tried to force every possible browser's "user agent", but it doesn't work. Second, with an OLE object instance of the browser (IE or Chrome), I can't use the "Save as.." method.
